FOOD: Incredible! SERVICE: Excellent!
Had the drunken lobster over garlic noodles (for obvious reasons), steak and lobster tail with fried rice, drunken wings, truffle fries, sugar cane juice (don't knock it until you try it, very popular in other countries such as Brazil), a few other beverages, and the Tiramisu for dessert. The flavors for each dish were unique and the just amazing. I highly, highly recommend this place.
New small restaurant in the corner of Wilcrest and Bellaire.
Food selection is limited, with some special dishes only available on the weekend (such as “bun rieu lobster”,…).
The lobsters (served with noodles) come with small (1.25lb), medium (2lb) and large size. When I was there, only medium size lobsters were available.
Char-grilled shrimp and noodle was big and tasted well. Other dishes (grilled scallops, soft shell crabs) were small and tasted so-so. Fried catfish combo was not special.
Staffs were very friendly and quick. They gave good suggestions on the plates. A big plus.
Plenty of parking spaces in front and on the other sides. Could be very quiet at night as other stores are closed much earlier.
Overall, it was a positive experience. The restaurant will need to have a better menu with more choices and should have some more unique dishes.
Had the garlic noodles and shrimp flavor was really good price was $16.00, however it was relatively dry and needed more sauce. Now this is a dish that we prepare in our household, so this is a dish we are experienced making. Portion/price ratio was good
A really nice decorated restaurant, The only minus point I have, all our drinks, juice and lemonades was way to sweet. But other than that, super super lovely friendly stuff. We ordered Beef salad, truffle fries, fried rice and dunking lobster. Everything is 10 out of 10 the truffle fires are something else. Top top. and I can’t wait to come back.
Came here for a Sunday lunch with my siblings and had a mini feast of Pork BBQ Eggroll Vermicelli Bowl, Surf ‘N Turf, Salted Egg Clams Pasta, Seafood Fondue, Sugar Cane Juice, soft shell crab, capelin. Service is quick and friendly. Everything was delicious, would probably could have gone without the egg roll in the noodle bowl. Noodles are rich and creamy with great flavor. Will visit again.
The food and service are good, but the portions are pretty small for the price. We tried a a few different dishes, but the best was the Steak Garlic Noodles. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked, and you could really taste the garlic flavors in the noodles. We also had lobsters with the noodles, but the noodles weren't as flavorful.
Nice and friendly service. The Lychee Gin Mojito is really good, and the Soft Shelled Crab is a tasty appetizer, as were the Green Beans. The Steak Garlic Noodles and the Surf and Turf with some Godly Fried Rice was a delicious meal. Recommend the Fried Ice Cream for dessert (Tiramisu is also good though) would love to come back forsure.
The fried crabs were cold & not good. I had the pasta & shrimp. The seasoning was on the outside shell- none on the shrimp! My friend had the surf & turf- the beef slightly tough & again seasoned the shrimp shell not the meat. The waitress didn't come check on us, I had to ask her to come to our table. Service can be better, food needed more seasoning. 3 / 10
